Reference reply 2 unclevirus comment (july 2).Funny 2 know that 4 the mazagines/newspaper team 'it is definitely not possible 4 them to visit the 3 campuses in India and one in Dubai'.If they cant do so before giving their verdict please ask them to close down their shops.Biased opinion is not respected anywhere in journalism.Please do convey them.They must have drawn their conclusion sitting in an AC room munching namkins and coke bcos they cant go to 3 other campuses.
Pilani has all the board toppers.Do u find the same in other 3 campuses.Just ask the journalists.
Ranking has been given by considering only one campus rest other are basking in the reflected glory.

dude, u like NIT Calicut CSE more than ANYTHING in Goa and Hyderabad and Dubai right? then its full stop, why even bother proving to us, BITSians and BITSians to be, that you are better and we are not upto the mark?

Just be happy for yourself, that you've gotten admitted to a good college (no sarcasm here, NIT Calicut IS good---even though i left NIT Calicut's E&TC for EnI @ Goa, cuz IMO BITS is better), and let us be happy to be BITSians. why argue on anything?!

and mind you, when you say those things about Journalism, even YOU should know that everything is not black and white ANYWHERE, so when u say that the rankings are flawed for BITS campus (or campuses, in your opinion), you SHOULD be ready to accept that they just COULD be flawed for IITs and NITs also.

and about your LPA thingy, about which many people-including VVR Sir-tried to put sense into you, i think its good for you that u'd be earning more. even i am happy for you (really am!), but at least in MY opinion, this is TOTALLY short-term and superficial thinking. and i dont mean to say that only BITSians will help you develop ideally, but i dont/wont regret a SECOND of my stay in the Goa campus.

and the BEST thing about BITS campuses is that it has NO--read again, "N" "O"--reservation based on anything, not even for the Birla family's sons and daughters. and not to mention reservations for the professors in many colleges all over India.

So, in your place, you are happy, and we, in ours.
