Movies?
If you have a laptop/know someone with a laptop, then watching movies/tv series/documentaries/video tutorials won't be a problem. Come to goa and ask about DC Wink

Generally, every saturday a movie is screened in the audi/library lawns (though it wasn't done very regularly last sem). Otherwise you can go to Inox in Panjim to watch movies (Most of the new ones will be available on DC in a week's time of their release)

Get home-made food for sure (Lots, unless it gets spoiled easily). That's one thing you'll miss Sad

Rest everything you can get from here (Books, stationary, day to day commodities etc)

1.Almost all movies will be available in the DC (local net like) . So dont worry abt movies if you get a laptop

2.They will be screening english and hindi movies in the campus auditorium almost every saturday.

Yes. All sports equipments are very much available here. But there aint too many brands of it here. You can get good quality equipments here, but they may not be the best ones. So if you are too eager on it and too specific, get it from home. Else its available at pilani too

1. I read on the forum that a dhobi comes twice a week. If we need something ironed do we give it to him or get our own iron? Smile

2. (although this doesnt come under 'facilities') What do we do when we reach the campus on 28th July? Please answer this one in detail! Confused

At Goa
1)there are 2 laundry services , in the shopping centre , they are open on all days(maybe not Mondays)

2)u'll have to register , show printout to verify who u r/etc.1ts thing wud be to get ur hostel room.Go there , rest , unpack take rest.After its deided which campus u r gonna be in then buy stuff for ur room.Defn try to interact wid seniors in areas where there are loads ppl(there is hardly any ragging , but still.)
