Hi,
from what i gathered in the forum,hostel rooms are allotted randomly.but is there any way by which i & my friend(he got M.Sc and myself got EnI) become roommates. |

try to go for reporting together,, and in the same room too.u might get atleast side rooms, if nt d same room, but their is no official way of doing it.

No in 99percent of cases they do not change rooms.
That one percent chance is if you have a problem with the rooms present condition. |

can v tell somebody 2 give us a particular hostel coz i don't want gandhi as somebody was tellin me its haunted and dat a guy committed suicide in 1 of d rooms?! |

 ok tht haunted thing was real funny. But dude, u r a BITSian, student of one of the most reputed colleges in india. and apart from tht u r 18yrs old. be practical.
But jokes apart, i wanna ask the seniors is that suicide thing true. I mean its not scary or anything but its depressing. Y wud such a thing happen and that too in BITS pilani campus |

dat was a very long tym ago(n was not due to acads as the legend goes :lol  ,, i mean only chowkidaars and all remember it.
n BTW ppl do live in the same room where its told to have occured and never report problems (i mean thiings gettin misplaced and other movie waala stuff ). dude so many ppl live in gandhi n apart from its mess everythin is 2 gud.
