Vision
Enriching the learning experience at BITS, Pilani campuses.
Mission
Make the academic and industry experience of BITS alumni accessible to on-campus students through lectures,
collaborative research projects, and exposure to current research trends around the world.
The BITS Embryo Project makes it possible for Alumni to reach the on-campus faculty and students over the internet to share their valuable knowledge with us.
Embryo plans to
a) Complement BITS Courses through video lecture series
b) Facilitate collaborative research projects between alumni and BITS
c) Expose students to current research trends and provide guidance for pursuing research projects
The BITS Embryo project at the Goa Campus was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof L. K. Maheshwari on the 20th January, 2007.
Among its latest activities Embryo(Goa) has successfully conducted the following lectures:
# BITS Embryo interactive session on 'Demystifying the CAT' with Mr Deepak Kapur (2000 batch) - April 7th, 2007
# BITS Embryo interactive talk on 'Placements' and 'Journey from BITS to BCG' with Mr Anupam Mathur (1999A4PS673) - April 14th, 2007

waah...64 views n just 2 replies....
anyways dont worry guys, we'll be having more of technical lectures under Embryo rather than going for general lectures...
Pilani actually has a planned calender for Embryo lectures, just go onto embryo.org n check it out...just gr8 topics maan...we've gt to get some of those people soon man..before the seniors pass out...

yeah man....next sem wud be time for some technical lectures....specific topics related to various fields like Comp. Sci. etc to be dealt with....also we wud like to have a few general lectures on things like "Adapting to working environment after ur placement" from our alumni(sply coz we r soon gonna see r dear seniors getting placed!!)...
